I replaced my old Bergans bag three years ago... after carrying it for thirty years... yes 30.. with this monster bag and the Escape 2 daypack attachment...Bergans was the choice because of the fine quality of the old bag...

I really carried 95 lbs.... including my Helsport tepee into Baxter Park last week... only a three mile walk in the mountains...and can honestly admit that it is the bees' knees..Those Norwegian folks just know how to make a really comfortable item ... I probably will buy a Bergans bag when this on wears out in thirty years or more...

(by the way ..I was joined on the trip by a buddy who used my old Bergans bag and said it was just fine too )
