The Lightsabre provides easy entry and exit as well as ample headroom. There is plenty of space for a daypack or clothing etc as well. Lightweight and easy to set up.

The ground cloth (foot print) is a must. I made one for $8. Once inside the bivy, the bottom is very slippery so if you're not on perfectly flat ground you will slide around a lot. I think this could be cured with a couple of lines of seam sealer on the inside across the bottom.

My only real concern and dissatifaction is that when the dew settled at night, my sleeping bag would get wet even before I got into the bivy. Therefore, I knew it wasn't due to condensation. I think this product would perform well with a synthetic bag. My down bag wasn't happy.

This is an over-priced, useless piece of equipment that takes an enourmous amount of personal time just to make it acceptable to use in anything other than perfect conditions. It is NOT SEAM SEALED. You must do it yourself with an included tube of sealant. To do it right takes hours of fussing with the fabric, letting it dry and starting over. If you miss a spot you will know it when the weather gets even slightly wet. It is an incredible waste of time and money. Avoid buying something this expensive which has so little thought put into it.
