Summary

Very comfortable and excellent value. Equivalent if not better than the Petzl Elios.

Pros

  • Confort
  • Ventilation

I have the Petzl Elios for my personal use and have used it for a number of Scout events and it is a fine helmet.  When it was time to buy a helmet for my son, I was going to get another one for him. However, I found some excellent reviews of this helmet, CAMP Armour, and decided to get it instead.

Now, I wish I had purchased the CAMP Armour for my personal use. It is very comfortable and seems to ventilate better. Since we are in Texas, this is important. Both helmets have been out for at least 4 outdoor all day events and have done fine.

The design look reminds me of a fish and it is not as stylish as other helmets, but I always go for function vs. looks.
