Beckwith

rated 1 of 5 stars Good looking torture device. Much like several other users have found, these don't fit my feet at all. I bought these 12 years ago and have less than 150 miles on them. I tried to break them in but the pain was too much to handle. Now to start off I walk 5 miles a day at a minimum, and often with a 20+lb pack. I have worn many different boots over the years and these are the worst. Even the cheap Hi-Tecs I bought were more comfortable.  I can typically hike 15 miles a day with a full pack and no… Full review

Z/Volv

rated 5 of 5 stars The Chaco Z/Volv Sandals are more of an evolution of the classic design rather than a revolution in the design — which means they are very very good. And I like it that way. I owned a pair of Chaco Z1 Classics for over 15 years. I wore the sandals as everyday wear, hiking sandals, beach wear, boating shoes, house shoes, fly fishing shoes, etc., etc., etc... I took the sandals on a year long adventure traveling through Latin America. The sandals were truly amazing. After 15 years they finally blew… Full review

Z/Volv 2 Sandal

rated 4 of 5 stars These are durable hiking sandals that adjust to and stabilize your foot. They’re great for day trips, leisurely walks, and short hikes involving mud or water. I originally bought these sandals to take on a trip to Mexico where I would be doing a couple of short day hikes around the Zapatista perimeters, but spending a significant amount of time in a tour bus or sightseeing. I wanted something that would hold up well to walk in all day, but also work with the outfits I had chosen. These sandals… Full review

Outcross Evo 3

rated 4 of 5 stars Chaco provides great comfort, yet again. I have had these shoes for about a year, and I've enjoyed every hike I've taken with them. Beyond some normal wear, they are in great shape. Of the four Outcross shoes, Chaco claims that this is the most trail-worthy pair. They've done well for me so far. I've used them on parts of the Appalachian Trail in Tennessee and North Carolina, in the Smokies, and in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in Las Vegas, Nevada.  These shoes fit pretty well. I… Full review

Vade Shoe

rated 3 of 5 stars Comfy out of the box. But if you are looking for a hiking shoe look at something else! Bought those shoes early summer 2015 to replace my expensive Lowa shoes. The fit was great right out of the box. I wear size 9.5. Sizing was great, enough room for my toes and since I got a sporty small ankle the't y are no space. There is no ankle support. It feels like a sponge, which makes it very comfy! Traction is an issue. The outsole groves are not deep enough to grasp onto wet muddy terrain, so it very… Full review
