Alite Monarch Chair

rated 5 of 5 stars Lightweight and very portable! Perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities! I absolutely love this chair! Lightweight and easy to bring along on backpacking trips. It made my recent overnight trip in WV so much more enjoyable. You can set the chair up just as quickly as you can tear it apart making it perfect for shorter rest stops or hanging out around the campfire. Weighs less than 2lbs...carrying the extra weight was worth it! I highly recommend getting one! Full review

Coleman Quad Camp Chair

rated 4.5 of 5 stars For a fold-up camp chair, this one is better than most. Comes in a fold-out side table model as well. For a fold-up camp chair, this one is better than most. Light but tough material used. Can hold heavy person, me, over 200 lbs. Good stitching at pressure points, the rivets are solid and logically placed. The canvas used just feels like a better quality than the typical $20 fold-out aluminum chair. I do try and keep it out of the sun as much as possible. The design is such that your bare arms… Full review

Travelchair Ultimate Slacker Tripod Camp Stool

rated 0.5 of 5 stars HORRIBLE camp stool/ chair. This is the most UNCOMFORTABLE thing I can ever imagine to sit upon. Even though I am a small woman, the two back corners of this triangular seated chair/ stool dig into the buttocks; after seconds it's horribly irritating. Worse is the front of the saddle style seat — think of the WORST, most horrible bike seat you've ever sat upon...the front corner pushes into the privates—NOT pleasant. I tried return to Amazon, BUT it would have cost me 1/2 the price of the chair. Full review

Sweetspot

rated 4.5 of 5 stars The Sweetspot strap chair is a clever little device that allows a person to have back support when sitting on the ground, a bench, or trailside log. The design is so simplistic, it leaves the user wondering, "Why didn't someone think of this sooner?" Printed on my Sweetspot Chair is the company slogan, "Way Better Than Nothing." I have joked repeatedly on how Sweetspot's creators have set the bar pretty low on customer expectations with that slogan. However, this product is clever, simplistic, and… Full review

ALPS Mountaineering Tri-Leg Stool

rated 3 of 5 stars For those of us of stout build who are desirous of a seat over a stove or by a fire, the Alps Mountaineering Tri-Leg Stool offers a powder-coated steel frame with both center support and leg support to accommodate up to 250 pounds, a weight some of its lighter cousins in the industry would find crushing. Heavy for ultralight use, but a nice luxury for car camping, base camps, day hikes, or even backpacking when you are willing to carry extra weight for added luxury. After years of sitting on logs… Full review

Alite Monarch Chair

rated 4 of 5 stars I take it on every trip! No more wet butt. I love this chair! I take it on every trip with me, even when the family heads off to the park for an afternoon.  It's quick to set up with color coding on the pole assembly to help make it super easy. It's really light and compact so there is always a place for it in your pack, which I can't say about the Crazy Creek style chairs. Sitting in the Monarch takes some getting used to because you have to lean back some, trust the chair, and find the sweet… Full review

Big Agnes Helinox Chair

rated 5 of 5 stars Excellent chair for camping, backpacking, festivals, etc. Easy to put together with the shock-corded poles. Two pounds with the included sturdy carry bag. Sturdy well made chair that can hold up to 320 lbs. I use this comfortable chair often in any type of situation where a chair comes in handy. The poles are corded together so assembly is a snap. The fabric is durable and well sewn. This sturdy little chair can even hold up to 320 lbs. It comes with a very heavy duty carry bag that has a handy… Full review

Alite Monarch Chair

rated 4 of 5 stars I will never again have to search for that perfect backcountry site with a good log to sit on now that I have this chair! I am no ultra light hiker by any means. So when it comes to comfort or weight, I go with comfort almost every time. This chair is always in my pack now. It is lightweight and packs up good. It takes a little getting use to getting in and out of. With two legs it can be a little unstable if you're not used to it.   The first time I carried this on a trip with me (Savage Gulf,… Full review

Alite Mayfly Chair

rated 4 of 5 stars Super comfortable lightweight chair, durability could use some work. First off, I love this chair. My boyfriend and I have them for the more luxurious backpacking trips we go on where we are only packing in for a few days and aren't SUPER concerned about weight. They are by far the most comfortable lightweight chair I have ever sat in and put the fold up foam camp chairs to shame! Also doesn't weigh much more than one of the kits you can use with your sleeping pad (a little over a pound) though… Full review
