Summary
I studied hammock tents for months while I designed my Trilitary Pac. This one I thought had the best design and I consider it fabulous in structure, design, and functionality.

Let's get the bad out of the way. It is narrow (the Clark North American)and claustrophobic. The netting does not allow much in the way of a breeze in and the tarp is just big enough.
The good, the pockets are great for storage and it's warm in temps in the 30's without using a quilt. The workmanship is incredible.

Ease of Setup: Beyond simple. Pull one of the ropes out of the integral bag, tie it to a tree, pull the bag with the rest of the hammock to the second tree and tie it off. Hang the fly and done. Nothing ever touches the ground. Usefull if it's raining.

I will never sleep in a tent again! Having spent nearly a continuous month sleeping in the hammock I can honestly say that it is the most comfortable sleeping system I've ever used.
The thing is amazing! More storage space than you can know what to do with. Really. You can empty your entire backpack into two of the pockets, stick the backpack into another one, jam your boots into a fourth, stick your wet outerwear into the fifth, and there's still one left for whatever else you want to put there.
Inside there are a couple smaller pockets for glasses and junk, and one for bear spray. The fly is, to put it mildly, huge. Put to the test you could easily fit six people standing under there. Three sitting comfortably. Winter usable, storm worthy, sunny-day sun-tanning ready...
Just one sweet hammock. Adaptable to ANY condition. It's, (dare I say it?) the Swiss Army Knife of hammocks.
I love to backpack, but I hate to sleep on the ground!

I love to backpack, but I hate to sleep on the ground! The Jungle Hammock by Clark Outdoor Products solved that problem. Its incredibly easy to setup between two trees, and get in and out of is a snap. It comes complete with insect netting and rain fly and is made of durable weatherproof nylon. It has pockets on the sides for your boots and things--and for me, very comfortable to sleep in. The Jungle Hammock tent is well designed and suited for the independent trail stomper! Ease of Setup: takes two minutes. Just learn the knot.

The Clark Jungle Hammock North American model is the best piece of gear I own. I can sleep on my side. I gave up on the Hennessy Hammock because I couldn't stay dry. The Hennessy looked cool but wasn't designed for real weather. The Clark keeps me perfectly dry and has pockets for gear plus other features like zip-up netting on both sides. You definitely get what you pay for. I love it.
