I was introduced to these pants by an older man who uses them to hunt sheep in northern Alaska. He said they blocked enough wind to keep you warm but he'd never overheat. I eventually bought a pair and am on my way to owning enough to get me through a week!
I find they are most comfortable in cooler temperatures between 40-65 degrees. With an underlayer they are even good when it is cooler. It is a wonderful fabric. In the summer they can be a little too hot even with the venting from the pockets. They are comfortable and there is a nice "give" in the fabric. These pants are a sure bet!
