User Review: Coleman Galileo Tent

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $41

Summary

Thank goodness so many people think you have to spend hundreds on a good tent. Leaves great deals like this for me.

Pros

  • Stands up in hard rain and wind, no problem.
  • Great materials used.
  • Great design and use of space

Cons

  • none

I picked up this tent on eBay for $41 brand new, in the box, delivered. What a steal.

I've had it out now for three weekend trips and can say this is one great tent. It has two identical vestibules one on each side. With plenty of space for gear.

It has lots of room inside. The third pole stretches out the sides to give maximum room inside. In two separate downpours not one drop made it in the tent. Also in strong wind you will not notice it inside. It does not flap when using the tie downs and stacking the tent and fly properly.

Too bad this tent is not made anymore. If you can find one like I did, snag it. You won't be sorry.
