Coleman leather/nylon hikers

rated 1.0 of 5 stars

The leather/nylon hikers has been discontinued. If you're looking for something new, check out the best backpacking boots for 2024.

Bad. I don't think these boots need broken in. If so, I guess I am still doing it. They are not good in any way. Lots of rubbing, poor support, traction, water resistance, stability on rough ground, insulation.... I thought it'd be fine to buy something like this for a summer of day hikes, but nope. I couldn't get away wearing a single layer of socks even for a couple miler. I guess they vent alright, but it doesn't matter when you have a lot of layers on anyway. I had equal support and stability in my running shoes (Adidas Hawks). These boots were a waste of money.
