User Review: Colonial Knife Tucks

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $25 US

Summary

At 25 dollars this knife is a bargain. Quality product with no bells and whistles, just a good sharp blade that is easy to maintain and some well designed touches. Good everyday carry with some room for improvement.

Pros

  • Textured handle
  • Belt clip
  • Price
  • Spring assisted blade

Cons

  • Spring assisted blade (can be both a postive or negative, see video)
  • Hard to open if you are left handed

My first attempt at a video review (inspired by Arson, thanks!). Other than a mid-video rant about losing my old knife I think I got my points across. Any feedback or constructive criticism would be appreciated...

I weighed the knife on my scales at 2.6 oz.

Comments

That's a nice knife, but the spring assist would have to be tuned down a bit before I would actually buy it.

It is convienient for one handed opening but I have to agree with you it is a little quick to pop open.
