Hydro Flask 64 oz Wide Mouth Bottle

rated 4 of 5 stars This is a hyped-up thermos. However, I use it when on the road, as glass growlers just don't cut it. One can still put it in the cooler, or not. I've had beverages stay cold over 24 hours and hot soup for about 18 hours. Like the review, it is good when you can purchase for less than $50. Will last a long time. Dropping will dent and eventually kill it. Needs a carrying handle/case. Full review

MSR Quick 2 System

rated 5 of 5 stars Excellent product. Excellent quality. Great non-stick pots. Insulated mugs. Nests together nicely. Full review

SIGG Steelworks Thermal .75 Liter Ring Bottle

rated 4.5 of 5 stars This is my go-to insulated drinking vessel, especially for cold weather activities. It's the ideal size and does an outstanding job of keeping liquids hot for a long time (or cold, if you want them to stay cold). Before I start, two quick notes: 1) I found this thermos in the basement of a rental apartment I was living in three years ago. The landlord told me to take whatever I wanted from the basement. It was mostly a mess down there, but finding this thermos made it worth my time. 2) As you've… Full review

Hydro Flask 64 oz Wide Mouth Bottle

rated 4.5 of 5 stars More than just an oversized water bottle, this vessel goes everywhere with me. Keeps soups and hot drinks hot, and keeps cold adult and non-adult beverages cold. While this bottle/growler is too heavy to take hiking and way too big to fit in my bike's bottle holder, it is still very handy and gets used way more than I initially thought it would.  I purchased it two years ago thinking it would be nothing more than a durable beer growler and an upgrade from my glass growlers that I was always afraid… Full review

Camp Chef Pie Irons

rated 4 of 5 stars Works surprisingly well. When I was a kid, there were a couple of these things at a cabin my family had.  I wasn’t ever allowed to use them, so of course they fascinated me. I bought one at REI a short time ago and used it while car camping (it would be too heavy to carry) to make grilled cheese sandwiches over a campfire. It worked really well. The instructions said to butter the bread before putting it into the iron. Instead, I heated the iron over the coals and then used a stick of butter… Full review

REI Vacuum Clip Mug

rated 5 of 5 stars These mugs are awesome. This is the best mug on the planet. I got several of these mugs years ago at REI. They were so awesome I got more. I have lost a few over the years, and they have gotten beat up from use but they are still my favorite mugs. I had some credit at REI and went back to get some more since mine are so old and beat up and was distraught to discover that they discontinued them. What a shame. I have looked online and searched forever. I was thrilled to find them again and immediately… Full review

Light My Fire Outdoor Meal Kit

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Great set, complete, and easy to carry I love my Meal Kit. It has all I need and is easy to grab and go. The harness makes it easy to hang on my pack via the clip for easy and quick access. I really like that the cup has a "sip" lid so that I can wander around camp without worrying about spilling. Light My Fire Spork

rated 4.5 of 5 stars This is a great little tool. It is lightweight, but still strong. It is very handy because you don't need to carry three utensils, just one. Although it has one weakness, if you are trying to use the fork and the knife at the same time it is very hard to cut stuff. I like the colours. If you lose them they are very easy to find. MSR PanHandler Pot Lifter

rated 5 of 5 stars Just a little item, but one that makes camp stove cooking a bit easier. Used it primarily with Jetboil stove, so pots with long handles affixed can be easily knocked off, and make the stove off-balance. This works well with handle-less pots. We have come to rely on our canister stove for canoe camping...we also have begun to use small pots (in addition to the pot/mug that comes with the stove). We found that pots with large handles tended to get "tippy" on the stove, and were easily knocked off… Full review
