GSI Outdoors Infinity Insulated Mug

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Best darn backpacking mug I have ever used. In the 1960s, I used the stainless steel Boy Scout cup which burned my lip on the first sip and yielded cold coffee on the second sip. In the late 1970s Aladdin came out with a 12oz insulated mug that was very cheap but worked nicely.  I used these until about 2011 or 2012 when I discovered the GSI cup. What an awesome product at a reasonable price! Coffee and soup stay hot, it is easily cleaned and, instead of taking a measuring cup, I took out the Lexan… Full review

GSI Outdoors Infinity Insulated Mug

rated 5 of 5 stars Lightweight insulated mug that edges out the competition on all the finer points. This mug has been amply and ably reviewed in its various versions by other TSers, but I thought I'd put in my .02 with the addition of some SCIENCE! When my well-used old Sea to Summit mug developed a tear in the outer insulating layer, I picked up the GSI version at a local outdoor store. Since my wife's S2S mug was still intact, I decided to do a head-to-head comparison of these two very similar products. Here are… Full review

Vargo Titanium Sierra 750

rated 2.5 of 5 stars I like the size of the cup and it does boil water very well. You cannot cook in it. Everything sticks to it and I've yet to find a stove that can burn cool enough to be able to cook an egg. No, I would not buy this product again. I believe I would buy one of the same size, if it was stainless steel. Full review

Toaks Titanium 450ml Mug

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Good enough for the girls I go with. Not a Snow Peak, but the price isn't either. This mug has been in daily use since January 2017 and has been serving me well. My first impression when I pulled it out of the box, and for whatever reason squeezed the mug, was it seemed more flexible than I remember the Snow Peak mugs being. The next thing I noticed was 450ml really means around 420ml, but the rolled lip makes it very hard to move it around full so somewhere around 375-400ml is about what it holds. Full review

GSI Outdoors Infinity Insulated Mug

rated 4 of 5 stars Figured I would review the updated version... I'm reviewing the updated model (the one pictured by Trailspace, mine is in the sink...or in the car. I don't know).  I wanted something to keep drinks hot and to keep bugs out of it!  It's actually done more than just those two things and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised:) Firstly for those not understanding how steam and pressure works—vent the mug as soon as you add hot fluids to it. Just like with anything else when heat builds up it… Full review

Sea to Summit Delta Insul-Mug

rated 4 of 5 stars A light but essential winter drinking cup. This may seem a trivial item but when winter camping keeping your hot beverages hot for more than 3 minutes is essential. At 10° F this cup kept my hot mocha from hot to nicely warm for 20 minutes. Likely it could have kept it warm longer, but I drank it before it had a chance to cool. The foam cover keeps the contents hot and your hand from burning. Winter time is NO place for Ti mugs, double walled or not.  I tethered the sipping lid to the cup with… Full review

GSI Outdoors Infinity Stacking Cup

rated 5 of 5 stars This is the best backpacking cup! It is lightweight and cheap, and it can hook to my pack by the handle, so it's there if I need it. Hot coffee on a chilly morning I never leave this cup at home when I go out backpacking. It is my Go-To cup for coffee, tea, and cocoa. Easy to clean and lightweight. My cup has been through everything! Dropped down a canyon, sat on, lost and then found by a fellow hiker, and still the only cup I ever bring with me backpacking. Most ultra light hikers probably don't… Full review

Toaks Titanium 450ml Mug

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Solid, flexible, mimimalist mug. Right-sized, lightweight, not too expensive. I wanted a largish lightweight mug for camping with either my small alcohol stove or a fuel tab store. I also wanted ti tough enough for every day.   Full review

GSI Outdoors Infinity Insulated Mug

rated 5 of 5 stars Great bit of kit, I own at least three. I'm a Scouter. I have seen them all over the years. I have every mug made I think, and I just couldn't settle till I found this one. For canoeing for years I used an MSR Ugamug. The one feature I like about this mug is if you throw a folding titanium spork and small salt and pepper shaker inside it and close the lid, it will fit inside a Fairshare Mug. Great feature. Compact full mess kit. Full review
