This is a wonderful pack. When I'm skiing with it, it sits next to my back and doesn't shift at all. Also, when I go off-piste, it locks my skis down for the long climb. I've taken it hiking, camping, mountain biking and backpacking. The only bad thing about this pack: If you pack light, this thing is way too much pack for you to handle.
