I ordered this pack based on the great reviews. The Futura 42 looked like exactly what I wanted in a travel/weekend trip pack: the right size (it holds more than 42L), lots of pockets, air-back and well made with thicker fabric then most light packs have now. After trying it on I found that Deuter is very optimistic on its size range. It's spec'd for torso lengths of 15-20" (a wide range for a non-adjustable). I'm 6' (torso length 19") and this pack was way too short for me. Even with the hip belt high on my hips the shoulder straps were too low and wouldn't pull the pack close unless they carried nearly all the weight. I also noticed that the padded portion of the hip belt was shorter than most and I can't believe it would be comfortable for those with waists over about 32" (mine is 33"). Other than those fit issues it looks like a good, durable, full featured pack at a great price.
