The Futura Zero 40 has been working very well for me. I carry a good amount of gear for landscape photography and the weight adds up. 8 lbs tripod, ~8 lbs of camera gear, 4 lbs of water, food, first aid and rain gear and usually some fly fishing gear. It adds up quickly. The pack is carrying it very well. The hips and lumbar carry the load and the shoulder straps keep everything stable. The aircomfort suspension works very well to keep your back temperature down. The difference from my old 40L pack is significant.

The pack is stripped down at about 3lbs. It has a large front mesh stash pocket, two mesh side pockets, two zipper pockets in the lid and a main top load compartment with hydration sleeve. There are side compression straps and the lid is held down by a pair of vertical straps.
