User Review: Eagle Creek Backcountry Alpine

Rating: rated 3 of 5 stars
Design: Internal Frame Rucksack
Size: 2000-2300 (Depending on model)
Number of Pockets: 5
Max. Load Carried: 45
Height of Owner: 5"11
Price Paid: ~$100 USD

This pack is relatively nice, however the Cordura has eroded around the high stress stitching areas and I've had to return it back for warranty repair. Its many pockets are nice, and it's pretty comfortable. You do need to fit your torso length to the pack. It will let you know quickly if you chose the wrong size (regular or long torso).

Its internal HDPE/Aluminum frame is somewhat thicker than others, making the backpack more stiffer in the back area than others. It's still a good all around day/overnight pack.
