Price Paid: $200
The Track Terrain is nicely constructed as a lightweight walking, light hiking high-top boot. I found it quite comfortable out of the box with a snug but not uncomfortable fit all around (I find the toe box not quite as large as the Ecco Seawalker which is extremely comfortable for short urban walking etc). Unfortunately, the lack of a stiff platform and lack of lateral support means this boot is not much better than a pair of good tennis shoes when hiking on off-road rocky trails.
The Gore-Tex liner seems to result in a pretty warm foot environment which I have abated somewhat with Smartwool or Coolmax sox. For gentle terrain, these appear to be comfortable and durable for extended walks. But for any rocky trails, my feet like they've been beat up after walking over protruding rocks for a few hours and I can't recommend the boot for that kind of environment.
