EMS Boreal 25
Temperature Rating: 25
Price Paid: $109
Great bag for the price. I hiked all day through an unseasonably cold and rainy September day in the Adirondacks. The inside of my tent got pretty soaked over night from the rain and condensation. I was completely warm, dry, and comfortable all night even though the bag was in a small puddle and soaked on the outside.
The only problem I can see is that the zipper snags quite a bit while zipping and unzipping and it fits a little small. I'm 6' and was a little cramped in the 6' bag. If you're any taller, go for the long bag.

On a budget yet still need a high quality sleeping bag for backpacking? Check out the Boreal 25. It's loaded with warmth-saving features including the A-Shingo construction method and an insulated draft tube. Climashield CL insulation is fast drying and offers excellent compressibility, high thermal efficiency, excellent durability, and moisture resistance. Continuous-filament insulation resists shifting or clumping over the life of the bag to eliminate cold spots and provide durable warmth every time the bag is used. A-Shingo construction overlaps the insulation in such a way that eliminates cold spots while improving loft (i.e., light and warm from head to toe). Lightweight 40-denier nylon honeycomb ripstop shell fabric. Full-length zipper located at ground level to avoid heat loss. Insulated zipper draft tube helps keep warmth in. Adjustable hood. Nylon stuff sack.
