I use this pack as a small carry-on to hold some essential gear like my cameras, cell phone, water, snacks and jacket. It is small and light and fits well under my seat while leaving room to stretch out. I also use it for day hikes when I'm traveling via plane. The waist strap isn't the best in comfort, and the back panel while padded isn't the most comfy when you have odd shaped heavy objects, but I love this pack for its efficient size and throughfull details like daisy chain webbing.
