EMS Core Fleece Jacket
Great fleece jacket. It's quite thick and warm, though…
Fabric: pretty heavyweight fleece
Great fleece jacket. It's quite thick and warm, though also pretty heavy. The cut of the jacket is real trim and fashionable, if that's yer thing. No pit-zips or drawcords. No real wind resistance to speak of, but like I said, it's real warm and heavy, a good little jacket for around town -- even in winter (my everyday jacket in Northern Minnesota). It isn't too hot to wear inside. I think for the money, it's a fine jacket. So do us all a favor, if yer in the market for a simple, non-technical fleece, put down the North Face Denali and pick up an EMS Core Jacket.
Here's what other sites are saying:
We've upped the cool factor of midweight do-it-all fleece, giving our version a more contoured athletic fit. This fleece fabric is four times more wind resistant than the typical insulating layer. Best uses: alpine/telemark skiing, snowboarding, and winter hiking. 100% polyester Windshield fleece. Outstanding warmth for its moderate weight and bulk. Soft, quick drying, and pill resistant. Chest pocket with vertical zip; two handwarmer pockets with vertical zips. Fitted cuffs; double-layer collar; full-zip front.
