Summary
Love the space and design of this tent. It's so versatile. The vestibule gives you added room for lounging outside of your tent with screen protection. It's sturdy and keeps the rain out.
Pros
- Quality
- Comfort
- Design
Cons
- Could use a velcro enclosure on the vestibule door bottom where it meets the floor
- Packed weight - 28lbs
Have only had this in the backyard for three days, but we love how big and versatile it is. Between the tent and the rain fly, you can do SO much!
It's easy to put up; haven't taken it down yet. It sets up really nice and taut while still allowing easy zipper use — the zippers glide like butter!
The tent is really convenient with its four storage pockets and numerous loops and velcro closures for lighting and cords. The vestibule is large enough for two camp chairs and a small table.
I love how you can vent the tent while still completely covered by the rain fly — and that it actually KEEPS RAIN OUT!! We had a long day and night of rain yesterday, when I checked the corners of the tent this morning, ALL DRY! It seems like it would withstand a hurricane, I'm impressed with the quality of this tent.
I also like how the walls are 18" high before they start to slant in so a double high air mattress fits easily. The middle of the tent is 6'6" so me, at 5'2", can stretch my arms overhead and not touch and my BF at 5'11" doesn't have to hunch over while inside. We will be traveling indefinitely and this is the perfect home for us!
The tent does pack up to be pretty big and heavy — 28lbs! But what can you expect from a tent that has over 100sf total room?
