Initially the set-up of this tent was a little awkward, but once you get the hang of it it becomes a lot easier. This thing is great for winter camping. We fit two people and two packs in the tent with plenty of room. If the tent is staked out real well, it is very stable. It would benefit from more guy-out points on the fly though.

The only gripe that I have with the tent is that condensation can be a problem. I think that I may have a few solutions for that problem though, one of them is stitching a few more guy-out points on to the fly. The other involves some spare foam and a careful study of the foam contraption that The North Face uses on their mountain tents, hopefully it works.

A few last things: 1. This tent is very warm! On a recent trip, it was 40 degrees F in the tent and a cool 18F outside, impressive. 2. I love the huge vestibule that this thing has! You could sleep someone in that thing if you really needed to.

One word of advice: TAKE THE TIME TO SEAL THE CRAP OUT OF ALL OF THE SEAMS OR YOU'LL GET WET! That's for all of the people bitching about getting wet in their tent because they were too lazy to take the time to seal the seams.
