Green Goo Dry Skin Care

rated 4 of 5 stars Completely organic, homeopathic solution to dry skin problems. Would definitely use to help prevent cracked heels. As a ranger with TheDyrt, I often get the chance to try out products and recently I was able to try out the Dry Skin product from Green Goo. During the winter and summer months I often struggle with dry skin and cracked heels. Now, regardless of the product I don't apply it like I should to prevent the condition from occurring, but I will say that I've had a quicker turnaround when… Full review

BSN Medical Leukotape P

rated 5 of 5 stars Leukotape P has replaced moleskin as my material of choice for preventing blisters. I have always had tender feet and been susceptible to blisters, so I take preventive measures and will tape my feet before a long hike. A few years ago I noticed people on hiking forums making positive comments about Leukotape P, so I gave it a try and it has now become my material of choice to prevent blisters and is something I always carry in my pack. One of the best things about the tape for me is that it is… Full review

AT Beard Mower

rated 2 of 5 stars Had a date on the AT after three weeks on the trail. I tried to groom myself and it backfired. Had to settle on roasting marshmallows instead. She was a little confused. Next time I will just go for it. Full review

TheTentLab Deuce of Spades

rated 5 of 5 stars If you need to drop a deuce, pop a squat, pinch a loaf, or grunt a stinky in the woods, then TentLab's Deuce of Spades is just what you need. However, as an all-purpose multi-tool, there are limitations. Undoubtedly, the Deuce of Spades is an outstanding trowel. However SOME of Trailspace seem to feel this is the only piece of equipment you need in you pack. (I'm not naming names, but can you really trust reviews written by people using such obviously fake identities like "Mike" or "Elizabeth?")… Full review

Coghlan's Backpackers Trowel

rated 5 of 5 stars Most of the titanium cat hole shovels weigh from .6 to 1.0 ounces, price around 30$, and they are short (about 6 inches), and not ergonomic . The Coghlan's is longer, more of a bulb planting garden trowel. It has a good handle for leverage and weighs 2 ounces . When lightening up gear, I figure about 10$ per ounce to upgrade is a fair price from old to new. The Backpackers Trowel vs the titanium is a 25 to 27$ per ounce cost. Not a good price to pay to lose one measly ounce. You decide. Strong plastic,… Full review

TheTentLab Deuce of Spades

rated 5 of 5 stars Great lightweight spade, and super dependable! Wanted to add to previous review, that I've used the TentLab spade for several months, and have dug down in shale, hard gravel, and packed dirt in Yosemite and Santa Barbara San Rafael Wilderness area, and have had no issues with it! Great tool, and super lightweight as mentioned. Love also the fact, as pointed out, it fits nicely next to water bottle! If you don't pack a bottle, my only suggestion is to be careful packing it the wrong way in your pack… Full review
