G3's Empire 115 is armed with the original Empires powder slaying construction and camber but in a tighter 115 mm package, the Empire 115 is a powder-spoiled big mountain rippers dream come true.
Big and floaty, the G3 Empire 115 skis will smooth-out any open line you point them down. The wood core, two sheets of titanal, and tri-directional fiberglass construction make this a true bomber, but with a sensitive, nimble personality on groomers. SweetRise 2 profile with high curvature tip and tail ie. full rocker Poplar wood core and two sheets of Titanal aluminum PowerRide construction using ABS sidewalls Tri-directional fiberglass lay-up P-Tex 2000 Electra base
Skiers asked for it, G3 listened and the big mountain freeride Empire 115 was born. Armed with full reverse camber, the G3 Empire 115 is your dream come true for deep powder days in the backcountry. Skis feature the same powder-slaying construction as the original Empire skis but with narrower dimensions to keep them lighter and more versatile for backcountry travel. PowerRide construction features poplar wood cores between sheets of 7000-series titanal aluminum and a triaxial weave of fiberglass for torsion and flex. Progressive, continuous reverse camber profile is matched to the skis' sidecut radius for powerful, fast, big lines in deep powder and they still hold an edge on hardpack. ABS plastic and thermoplastic urethane sidewalls stand up to impacts and give the skis a lot of pop when you're coming out of turns. Glossy nylon topsheets keep snow from building up on the tops of the skis. Durable steel edges stand up to regular use and dig into hard icy slopes. The G3 Empire 115 telemark/randonee skis have P-Tex 2000 Electra bases that are very durable and absorb wax well for good glide. Base or topsheet color may vary from online photo.
If there's already a foot of snow in your driveway, it's time to take out the G3 Empire 115 Ski. This fat, floaty ski, designed specifically for ladies or lighter riders, features a softer flex and rockered tip and tail that enables fast sweeping pow turns in steep terrain, open bowls, and tight trees. Thanks to the Empire 115's progressive SweetRise 2 camber profile, you're able to float on powder, be agile and nimble in deep snow and cruddy chops, and make slarvy turns in soft snow. And because of its 115mm waist the Empire 115 is able to hold a strong edge in hard pack so you're not all squirrely when you ski groomers to make your way to the lift, tram, or gondola. Armed for battle with G3's PowerRide construction, this big mountain ripper comes stacked with an ABS sidewall for bomber construction and durability while its full tip-to-tail Poplar wood core offers superb strength, lightness, and pop. With two sheets of Titanal aluminum to cut down on chatter and vibration and two layers of Tri-directional glass for torsion and flex, the Empire 115 provides a smooth ride for straightlining and making big arcing turns down steep, wide, open terrain. G3 gave this powder plank Rockwell C48 steel edges for sharpness and strength while a P-Tex 2000 Electra base supplies durability, speed, and wax absorption. So the next time you find yourself looking down upon a pristine field of steep pow hold on tight and enjoy the fast ride while pow hits you in the face.
