User Review: Garmont Acadia
Rating: ![]()
Materials: Leather (mostly)
Use: light-mid weight boot
Break-in Period: almost nil
Price Paid: $100-plus
This is a very nicely-designed and constructed light-to-mid weight boot. It's really somewhere in between. If you're a strong hiker, you might be able to go a long way with a mid-weight pack in these. The sole has a pretty supportive shank. However, the leather is pretty soft; so, if you're not naturally strong-of-ankle, I think these would not give you the overall support needed for long hikes with any real weight on your back. Perfect for day hikes though. Super comfy, easy break-in. Nicely designed
