34 years ago I purchased this product at Paragon Sports in Manhattan. It has survived a four-month camping trip traveling across the entire US, two trips through Europe and two teenage boys and their camping trips. After all this time the only thing that wore out was the zipper. Great product!! I would buy this product again.

I bought my Gerry Down sleeping bag at the Mountain Shop in San Francisco in 1969, and it still has plenty of loft after 35 years of use! Used in temperatures from 4F up to 100 F (in Death Valley). Didn't know they still made them!

Fill: 550 fill down
Temperature Rating: +0
Weight: 3lbs 8oz
Price Paid: $125
Purchased this bag through an offer that Gerry was giving when you purchased a down vest/jacket from them. This was some 50th anniversary deal. Anyway, the bag is quite nice for only $125.00 (+ the $60 for the down vest). The shell and liner are silky smooth nylon taffeta and gerry uses chevron shaped baffles on the top side to keep the down from shifting. I don't know if this offer is still going, but if it is, this is a well built bag.
