Summary

Awesome product! I have used it thru hiking both the Pacific Crest Trail and the Appalachian Trail. GoLite doesn't make this anymore. Sad, it is an excellent product. Ray Jardine still offers this on his website.

Pros

  • Lightweight
  • Versatile
  • Compact
  • Big and dry
  • Reinforced stitching

Cons

  • GoLite and Ray Jardine no longer partnered

This tarp needs about one foot of bug mesh stitched to the long edges to prevent rain splashback and reduce bugs.  The short ends need a two larger pieces (allows for entry) each for the same reasons.
