My husband and I both carry the Gossamer Gear ThinLight 3/8" sleep pads and love them. Last year we hiked the Pacific Crest Trail for over five months. We used our sleep pads from the desert through the Sierras and on into Oregon and Washington. They worked great in all temperatures and during the spring, summer and fall. We were comfortable and warm every night.

We love the fact that they are so light and keep us insulated at the same time from the ground temperatures. The pads fit inside our packs and are small enough not to take up too much extra volume. We also enjoyed using them when we took breaks along the trail, as a comfortable place to sit or lay while resting or eating lunch.

They are also very durable and we will continue to use them again this year for where ever we decide to hike.
