Gregory Bear Bag

Good bag, can be improved.

I bought this in 1998 I believe. The concept is simple and good — a big, tough bag sold with haul loops attached and 25' or so of paracord with a rock pouch attached to hoist your food bag up into the trees away from those pesky bruins.

I used it as is for a few trips, but then swapped the dark green paracord out for a length of the thin reflective no-trip line so that I could see it in the dark or dusk easy with my headlamp. Eventually I stopped using this bag at all and switched to a waterproof, ultra-light sil-nylon bag.
