This pack is amazing if you can get your hands on it. My friend who is a Navy Seal used this pack and than gave it to me when he was issued a new one. The very fact that he used it says a lot for its quality.
It has never broken and I have loaded easily 60 pounds in and on it strapping on skis and boots and camping gear. It works great as a day pack and can far exceed anything you throw in it. Your legs will fail before it does. It also has more straps than you know what to do with.
If you are looking for a exceptionally tough all around backpack this is the best in its class.
