"Free Shipping. Grivel Gecko Helmet (Fall 2006) The Gecko Helmet by Grivel is a multi-functional, modern style helmet for everything from ice climbing to free riding. Due to its coverage and warmth it should be regarded as a winter helmet. The ABS shell resists sharp object penetration, and is lined with shock-absorbing polystyrene foam. The standoff created by the foam combined with the well-vented shell allows adequate air circulation and the ventilation ports are protected by metal netting to prevent snow or ice chunks from entering. The ear protectors, useful in cold conditions may be removed when not needed. One size fits as many users as possible, fit may be adjusted with the helmet on the head."
