GSI Outdoors Glacier Stainless Vacuum Bottle

Great thermos for winter hikes! Keeps my coffee or cocoa steaming hot for more than 12 hours. Granted I don't own another thermos so cannot compare this product to another. It worked for me on my winter hikes.

Only gave it 4 stars for weighing in at a whopping 25 oz! So not great for ultralight anything. After 4 hours just as hot as when I poured it ! Too hot to drink! After 8 hours hot but drinkable right away. After 12 hours still hot.

My son bought me this for Christmas last year after he saw me eyeballing it on the REI website. I got the orange one. It's kinda heavy, but I expected that from a winter thermos. It served its purpose keeping my cocoa hot and at 34 oz was large enough to provide all three of us with piping hot cocoa on a chilly day in Rainier snowshoeing.

I only used it six times and was happy with it. It's a treat to have a hot cup of anything out in the wilderness without having to pull out a pot and stove in the snow.
