I bought the Bugaboo cookset in order to cut down on the bulk of having pots and pans from different manufacturers that didn't fit into my pack as well as the nesting design of the Bugaboo.

The pan as well as the pot are non-stick to the max, I have cooked pancakes without using oil of any kind and they cooked beautifully. They cook very evenly.

I could do without the 4 nesting cups that came with the cookset, they take up too much room and I never use them as they are plastic and I cannot use them directly over my cook stove.

The detachable handle is pretty nifty and very compact but I wish it slid into the brackets on the pot and pan a little more easily when they are hot.

Over all I am very pleased with the cookset's performance.

I can't tell the difference between the Bugaboo Hiker cookset and the Hiker cookset. I have one of them.

It is a wonderful and lightweight set that I have used dozens of times now! Easy to clean, great to pack up! and so far they seem super durable.

What's nice, is that you are able to store food inside the cups as you hike. I use that to my advantage and actually stuff my MSR PocketRocket inside one of them.

Cooks evenly and fast, never have had any balance or straining issues, although I would say don't leave the handle on while it is on the stove, it could tip it over if you're not careful.
