photo: Haglofs Treble Hood fleece jacket

This jacket with its close-fit cut and the stretch of the Polartec Power Stretch fabric used for shoulders and sleeves has a really exceptional comfort. This fabric also makes exposed areas more durable than usual fleece fabrics. The rest of the jacket is made of a lighter Polartec fleece but with the same level of insulation and handwarmer pockets which help to keep your hands warm in cold weather.

The insulation is just right from spring to autumn as well as for active use in winter but will be, in my opinion, too hot for summer hikes. The hood might repel some people but it’s useful to stay warm during breaks at summits or pass without having to take your hat out of the backpack and it also provides extra insulation to your hat in bad weather. Finally the jacket also wicks well and dries fast.

Multi-purpose yet technical, this fleece will satisfy everyone from hikers to alpinists. It’s comfort will delight you on alpine climbing routes and it also looks great in town.
