Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter Pro

rated 3 of 5 stars Decent starter hammock, comfortable and adequate. If you hang out on the East Coast, get one. After many times watching the sun get lower and searching around for a decent tent pad in SNP and surrounding areas, I, one day, encountered a fella comfortably hanging in a hammock. Thinking back to the many times of tent pad searching and noting the huge amount of trees available, I decided a hammock was worth a try. Totally worth it, especially in SNP and I assume other East Coast parks. On to the hammock… Full review

Eagles Nest Outfitters DoubleNest

rated 2 of 5 stars Overpriced for what you get, sizes are deceiving. Unless you get it at a significant sale price, there are other choices out there that are just as good. I own a number of hammocks, and the ENO is the more expensive than any of them and gives no advantage in quality for the extra price. My most expensive hammock is a Yukon Outfitters double, which, although its specs say that it is the same width as the ENO, is fully TWO FEET wider than the DoubleNest. It is also two feet longer. So unless you are… Full review

Byer Amazonas Hammock

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Amazing product for the price, super light (under 16 oz). Still in pack, though it's only good during warmer months. No rain guard, but that's nothing a good tarp won't fix. To start, I'm a bit of a beginner when it comes to backpacking trips, but am already in love with it. I've found that through years of camping there's always a rock or funky angle that a tent sits on when you want to set camp somewhere besides the "pads" set up for specified sites. So I decided to go for a hammock. I found the… Full review

Amok Draumr

rated 4 of 5 stars Camp in a bag, setup in less than half the time of any other tent I have seen. Extraordinary breakthrough in hammock design. There is a learning curve. This is a limited first edition Draumr by Amok.  This is a new start up company out of Norway that has come up with a revolution in hammock camping. First shipped end of July 2014. While the overall design is brilliant, there are a few issues that need to be considered before investing in this camp system. Compared to setting up a standard two-person… Full review

Grand Trunk Ultralight Hammock

rated 4 of 5 stars I highly recommend this hammock to beginning hammockers because it's affordable, and gives you an insight to whether or not you could be a hammocker. It's lghtweight, and packs down very small. I recommend this hammock to anyone who wants to get into hammocking. Hammocking can be very rewarding, and easy to use. Sadly though, not everyone can sleep in a hammock, where others hang hammocks in their rooms because they sleep better than in their bed. Whenever someone says "Where can I get a hammock,… Full review

Eagles Nest Outfitters SlapStrap

rated 3 of 5 stars The SlapStraps are ENO's most basic suspension system. They work fine but lack versatility — a much desired characteristic in the backcountry when scoping out anchor points for a hammock. I recently reviewed my ENO DoubleNest and thought it would be appropriate to include a review of the suspension system I use with said hammock. The ENO SlapStraps are an ENO manufactured accessory that works with any of their hammocks. These are only one of various suspension systems ENO manufactures for their… Full review

Eagles Nest Outfitters DoubleNest

rated 4 of 5 stars A versatile, portable, comfortable and easily accessible option for overnight sleeping or just a quick rest. Compresses to a size slightly larger than a grapefruit. With more than 100 reviews on Trailspace and almost all of them receiving either a 4 or 5-star rating, I think that goes to show this product is pretty well liked, easily accessible and performs well. There isn't a lot that I can add to the numerous reviews from people who have spent more time in their ENO DoubleNest than I have. You… Full review

Eagles Nest Outfitters SingleNest

rated 5 of 5 stars I got the ENO Singlenest hammock for Christmas and have enjoyed it thoroughly. Highly recommend it. My hammock is awesome. I use it every time I hike, camp, or just want to relax. The hammock folds up into a very tight and lightweight ball, easy for storage. ENO also offers some cool accessories that add to the amazing experience. If you don't have one, get one soon and you will agree with me that the ENO Singlenest hammock is life changing. Full review

Eagles Nest Outfitters SlapStrap Pro

rated 3 of 5 stars They work well. Just probably better for someone smaller. These straps seem to work well. But I am a fairly large person. These straps will stretch an amazing amount overnight. Nothing like waking up in the am on the ground. I was given a set of Atlas straps for Father's Day and if you're a good size person pass these by and go ahead and get the Atlas. Full review
