Eagles Nest Outfitters DoubleNest

rated 4 of 5 stars Easy to use, comfortable hammock. Received as a gift two years ago. In addition I own the Atlas strap system for simple and quick connection. Disclaimer—I have yet to use this as a sleeping option (save for naps). I enjoy taking it while backpacking as restful seating option at camp, but prefer the tent for bug/rain protection. Have not owned or used the meshing or tarp in conjunction. Haven't embraced cowboy camping as of yet. I'm a bigger guy (6'3" 200 lbs), so two people lying inside is a bit… Full review

Hennessy Hammock Explorer Ultralight Asym Zip

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Comfy centerpiece of a four-season hammock rig. I have had this hammock for about five years now and have spent many (50? 60?) nights in it. The most impressive feature is the durability of the stitching and the zipper on the bug netting. When you enter this style of hammock, with the integrated zippered bug net, there is stress put on both the zipper and the stitching connecting the zipper to the hammock fabric. However, I've never had an issue with them failing. When you lie slightly sideways,… Full review

BOS Hammocks Single Camping Hammock

rated 5 of 5 stars Well-made hammock. Easy to set up and comfortable to sleep in. After using another hammock I bought back in 2014 I decided it was time to upgrade a bit. I found this hammock online for $23.99. I already have a pair of tree straps, but you could use a thick rope to wrap around a tree (just protect the bark, Leave No Trace style). The tree straps are about 12 feet long and have a multiple loops on either for an adjustable hang. This makes it rather simple to set up the hammock and easy to adjust if… Full review

HackedPack v.1.1

rated 3 of 5 stars HackedPack’s Hammock Backpack is a combination hammock and backpack. HackedPack’s durable nylon backpacks include lots of pockets. I've used this on a few light weekend outings. It's OK if you have a small sleeping bag you want to use with the hammock. If you strap on the outside it works. A 25L capacity. There a nice hip belt and the packed weighted down rides fine on your back. Nice huge parachute nylon hammocks are triple-stitched to hold up to 500 lbs, aluminum gate clips are rated to 20… Full review

Peak Camping Hammock Single Camping Hammock

rated 5 of 5 stars Excellent alternative to ENO! I've had this hammock for almost a month and it has been excellent so far! Love that it comes with straps and carabiners AND the lifetime warranty. Was a little worried that the single might be too small, but it's actually perfect and super comfortable. I haven't used it for overnight camping yet, but for day hanging it has been great! Highly recommend! Full review

Grand Trunk Double Parachute Nylon Hammock

rated 4.5 of 5 stars The space in this hammock is amazing. Whether you are just chilling out or in the backcountry, this hammock rocks! As a member of another website, I sometimes get the opportunity to try out products in exchange for a review, and I was recently able to try out the double hammock. I have other Grand Trunk products, Skeeter Beater Pro and Single Hammock, and have loved them both. I was excited to see just how much more space the double had to offer. I've had others tell me that even if you plan on… Full review

Grand Trunk Ultralight Travel Hammock

rated 3 of 5 stars Versatile hammock that withstands winds, but isn't too warm. Love these hammocks! It took a few times of hanging them to identify the perfect preferred pitch per user, but once we got that down (I like more of a level hang while the tall boy hubby at 6' 4" prefers to have one side slightly higher). The pouch it folds into is perfect for storage while in use and these dry so quickly that they're great for cooling off....just a quick spritz and lie in it. Sure you may be damp, but will quickly cool… Full review

Tentsile Flite+ Tree Tent

rated 4 of 5 stars Two-person tree tent with screening and fly with a cross brace for extra headroom. I used this tent for the first time on a two-day canoe trip in the s. N.J. Pine Barrens. It was the perfect size and didn't require any additional sleep pad, a huge advantage. I'm 6'2" and 215 lbs. I had no issue fitting. Not sure I would sleep with two people, but did lie in it with my son who is just as tall as me. No sag and held just fine. I do not like sleeping in hammocks and this has a very different feel.
