Tentsile Flite

rated 3 of 5 stars Tentsile's Flite tree tent is the company's lightest version of its hammock-tent hybrids. Combining the comfort of a hammock with the structure of a 2-person tent, the Flite is a novel idea that just does not execute very well. Although I like the concept of the Flite, the cons are significant enough that it would be hard for this reviewer to honestly recommend it to others. First let me say, I have written and read enough reviews to know that when someone dismisses a product many people will vehemently disagree… Full review

Dutchware 11 Foot Netless Hammock

rated 5 of 5 stars Great basic hiking hammock. The Dutchware 11 Foot Netless Hammock is a great basic hammock that comes in a variety of fabrics. Mine is made of Hexon 1.0 and is rated up to 250 lbs while weighing in at just under 12 ounces with suspension, which is an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. At 11 ft long and 58 inches wide it's quite a bit longer and wider than most hammocks out there, making it exceptionally comfortable after a long day hiking. The Hexon feels soft and has just the right amount of stretch. Full review

Dream Hammock Sparrow

rated 5 of 5 stars Jack-of-all-trades, versatile and well thought out hammock. The Dream Hammock (DH) Sparrow is a very well thought out and polished hammock. Called a 4-season hammock on the website, it allows you to take along just what you need for conditions without adding extra weight.   The customer service is awesome. If need be, you will be speaking to DH owners Randy and Deanna Smith out of Fredericksburg, Ohio, and they'll answer your questions promptly and intelligently. They are definitely hammock people… Full review

Eagles Nest Outfitters DoubleNest

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Good product that performs as you would expect. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to relax in or sleep in. This hammock performs as expected. The stitching appears to be of good quality as well. I was told to purchase the double size. I am a male, 5'10". I am glad I did, I could see where the single would be a bit tight. I use the ENO straps to hang the hammock. These are quick to use and fairly fast. When hanging your hammock, always make sure to leave it hanging in the shape of… Full review

Grand Trunk Double Parachute Nylon Hammock

rated 5 of 5 stars This hammock is very easy to set up out of the bag. It has all the carabiners and rope to attach it to almost any solid foundation: http://youtu.be/99AHAK6bGNo The material and construction of the hammock can hold me without any problems. Dodj Full review

Serac Classic Camping Hammock

rated 5 of 5 stars Love how compact and lightweight this hammock is. It comes with tree straps and at an amazing price of $38. I picked this up based off the Gearjunkie review. Setup: Was as advertised. This hammock comes with tree straps, all for $38. The tree straps made setup swift and simple. It took only a few minutes. Quality: The fabric of the hammock was strong, they claim up to 350lbs. The straps are made of polyester, which is great. I heard nylon straps will stretch. Size: This is a single hammock, so it's… Full review

Raven Designs Treehugger Double Hammock

rated 4 of 5 stars Black Dome Mountain Sports in Asheville, N.C., teamed up with hammock maker Treehugger, then bought them out. Most people like Eagles Nest Outfitters, also here in Asheville, but I chose this brand because of the camo pattern. They were the first to use this pattern and ripstop as far as I know. It a family run business and they have always been nice to me. This was the last hammock in that pattern, and they held it for me until I got paid. It's comfortable and the built-in stuff sack is big enough… Full review

Warbonnet Traveler Double Layer 1.1

rated 4 of 5 stars Good hiking hammock. I bought my Warbonnet Double Layer 1.1 Traveler to use in chilly and cold weather because of its light weight, pad insert openings between the layers, and lack of integrated bug net. I ended up using it more than I thought I would, in all seasons, but not using the pad inserts. Purchased with whoopie sling suspension it weighs in at about 17 ounces, is very easy to set up, and its simple design lends itself well to a variety of insulation types. Here the hammock is shown without… Full review

Eagles Nest Outfitters SingleNest

rated 5 of 5 stars It's a craze. I've owned a SingleNest hammock for 5 years. Since then, I've camped in it many times as well as thrown it up to rest in between classes on my college campus, hang out with friends in at the park, and enjoy a sunset in before backpacking to my site for the night.  In terms of hammock quality, it is hard to beat what the folks at ENO have done. The hammock can hold 400 pounds, yet still seems relatively breathable, which is a must on warm, summer nights. Plus, the hammock packs down… Full review
