It can be pretty frustrating to get your little girl a brand new jacket, only to have her spill cocoa all over it the second time she wears it. While there's no way to end spills forever, Helly Hansen gives you another option with the Girls' Reversible Down Jacket--just turn it around to hide the spill until you can wash it. The Jr jacket is also treated with Helly's Spray Tech DWR, so marks from spills are kept to a minimum from the get-go. As far as warmth and techy features are concerned, the Jr Reversible jacket covers all the bases. The windproof, breathable face fabric and elastic cuffs take the wind chill rating out of the equation. A detachable hood keeps warmth from escaping when she needs it, and can be removed when the sun comes out so it isn't flapping around behind her. Finally, and most importantly, 550-fill European goose down locks in the heat to keep her comfortable and safe from winter's icy grip.
