I bought this jacket for Canadian winters and so far, it has seen me through a 6-month winter of snow, freezing rain and ice with temps down to minus 45 with windchill. I only usually wear a shirt and a sweater underneath the sequel.
For waterproofness, the jacket seems to get damp and soaked very quickly. While I don't get wet, it's a bugger to dry. I contacted Helly but they never get back to me.
Windproofness is amazing, better than gore-tex.
I am very pleased with my purchase.
