This hammock is great! I have several Boy Scouts who use this model and I started with it as well.  I have upgraded to the Expedition Asym but still use my son's Scout when introducing someone to the joys of hammock camping.

I have weathered several storms in this hammock and never came out wet. Hennessy builds a great quality product at a much better price than other hammock manufacturers and are great to deal with.

The bottom entry takes a little getting used to, but, it now seems to be the best entry system I have used. Much less awkward than side entry. This hammock will give you a great night's sleep.

I have personally used Hennessy hammocks for three years with absolutely no problems. There are only a couple of items of note with this or any hammock. These are not negatives to me, just things that anyone considering a hammock should be aware of. First, you should be aware that hammocks lose quite a lot of heat from the bottom. This is easily resolved with one of several items available an Hennessy or other hammock sites.

The only other item of note is ensuring that the area you plan to camp will allow hammock use. Many State parks, Corps of Engineers areas, and private camp grounds no longer allow hammock use, so please check before you go.
