Back in early 80s bought Hermans for at the time over 100 dollars. Most thought I was nuts. Still have the boots. The inside of the boots have insulation but also have leather lining which I cannot find now in any brand. The boots started in Santa Rosa, CA. Sorry they went to China. They look like junk looks like Danner or Red Wings 4 me.
