User Review: Herman Survivor
Rating: ![]()
Use: rough trail hiking, landscaping, all types of outdoor work
Break-in Period: 0 days
Weight: very light
I bought my boots about six years ago and they've been great. There was no break-in period as they were extremely comfortable right out of the box. I originally bought them for a summer job on a road crew in college. This boot keeps your feet cool in the summer (or when you're on hot surfaces like asphalt), warm in the winter and dry no matter what. I've used them for hiking, yard work, and about anything outdoors that requires more than a sneaker. Six years, still comfortable, still in great shape. I wouldn't buy any other type of boot.
