I too, had a great pair of Herman Survivors. They're very comfortable and great in the Chicago cold. Now I can't find a pair that even comes close. Wal-Mart has taken another great thing and ruined it for everyone. Thanks for nothing Wal-Mart. I think now I will stick with Red Wing shoes. At least I KNOW they are great quality, made to last and be comfortable. You lost me permanently as a customer, at least in shoes.
