Fjallraven Men's Vidda Pro Trouser

rated 4.5 of 5 stars These are the best camping/foraging pants I've found. They dry fast, and are super durable. They are not super fire resistant though. These are my go-to pants. I wear them every single time I'm in the woods, whether it's teaching a survival/bushcraft class or foraging for some edibles.  They fit tight on me, but I'm pretty fit so my thighs and glutes are big in comparison to my waist.  I love the length. The tall fits me well at 6'1" and both ankles have adjustability to tighten up.  Water resistance… Full review

Fjallraven Men's Vidda Pro Trouser

rated 5 of 5 stars Sturdy built and well thought features such as pocket layout and gaiter hook. I got these pants to replace my ski winter pants a few weeks ago but started to wear them regularly. They are quite comfy. I like the pocket layout. Also they are very good looking pants according to my wife ;) Initially I was intrigue about the fabric type and the old school waxing for waterproofing and thought that this could be a good replacing for my ski pants which are falling apart. They look very sturdy with knee… Full review

Fjallraven Barents Pro Trouser

rated 2.5 of 5 stars The Barents Pro Trousers are tough and well-made. Unfortunately, I found them too close-fitting to be comfortable. Fjallraven’s Barents Pro Trousers come in an asymmetric design with three cargo pockets—one on the right leg and two on the left. They also have two deep hand pockets on the hips, a mobile phone pocket inside the right cargo pocket, and an axe pocket on the left leg. Mobile phone pocket inside the right cargo pocket The arrangement of the cargo pockets is excellent. If you’re… Full review

Fjallraven Barents Trousers

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Rugged and practical hiking trousers with multiple pockets. Not suited for warm weather but excellent from fall to spring. The Fjallraven Barents Trousers The Barents Trousers by Swedish brand Fjallraven are tough and practical, with a reinforced seat and knees and seven pockets. The Barents Pro Trousers are a variation on the same design with a slimmer cut and minor changes to the pocket layout. Initially I ordered the Barents Pro trousers because Fjallraven describes this model as having a regular… Full review

Rab Vertex Pants

rated 5 of 5 stars Very comfortable, breathable hiking pants. I have always found it difficult to find hiking pants that fit my short inseam well. Usually even 30" inseams are too long, and tend to drag on the ground. These pants have superb fit all the way around. My wife always complains that most of my hiking trousers look super baggy, but commented that I look GREAT in these. ;~) The stretchy polyamide/elastane fabric is very comfortable and highly breathable. Even on hard-charging uphill hikes, I never felt clammy… Full review

Eddie Bauer Mountain Pants

rated 4 of 5 stars Comfortable, a little heavy, and durable well designed pants. It's a little weird to review a pair of pants. I mean, each brand and style of pants fits a little different and offers different feel and features. I typically wear a lightweight guide pant like the Kuhl Revolvr, but those pants haven't held up well in the seams in the bottom of the crotch (right where everything comes together). So I went out searching for pants with some similar design elements but which were a little more durable… Full review

prAna Halle Pants

rated 5 of 5 stars Every time I see a woman browsing hiking pants in an outdoor store, I want to run up to her and tell her about these pants. (But that would be weird so I'll just write this review.) The cut is flattering, the fabric has stretch but is also sturdy, and after three years and many miles they still look brand new. Perfect for hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, and around town. Prana's Halle Pants are my favorite piece of outdoor gear I own. Why do I love them? The cut is the BEST — seriously flattering… Full review

Kuhl Revolvr Pant

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Super comfortable hiking pants. I wear these on almost every hiking trip. Despite the price, I highly recommend them. After nearly biting the $85 bullet several times, I finally pulled the trigger and purchased these pants. After the initial sticker shock, I have not been disappointed in the least. They are true to size and fit great. I find myself wearing these pants off the trail quite often. They are very comfortable. Pockets are well placed and right sized. Abrasion resistance is very good. The… Full review

The North Face Paramount Traverse Pant

rated 4.5 of 5 stars I've tired on a pair on in size 32. I usually wear 32 or medium, and the fit is just perfect. The length for a 6 ft guy at 160 pounds is also excellent. They come factory ready with a water repellent, which is effective. They look great so I decided to buy 3 pairs. The Paramount also have pre-bent knees, two zipped pockets on each legs (vertical on the right leg and horizontal on the left), plus four others. I used the zipped pocket on the left leg usually for poo bags for the dog and didn't use… Full review
