Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Fabric: wool interior, climawool softshell exterior

A first rate vest.

I run hot even on very cold days when winter mountaineering, so I am great believer in vests. This one is terrific -- does a good job of warding off the wind and snow, good breathability, very stretchy. I use this piece a lot, both in the mountains and around town.

If you are looking for something to keep you warm when standing around, this is not it. But for winter mountaineering or to cheat the wind, it is excellent.

A good purchase.
