ruff, itchy, weird fit, difficult wash & dry I…

Rating: rated 2 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new

Summary

ruff, itchy, weird fit, difficult wash & dry

Pros

  • city look

Cons

  • feel of fabric & fit
  • wash & dry difficult to maintain fabric
  • itchy

I kept this in my closet and tried wearing it too many times before it was added to the charity bag. The look is great but: front zipper short in ladies, fabric dries slow, itchy, boxy shape, small in chest, big at waistline, poor shape for arm movement.

Note: The men's seems to have been a better fit for my spouse, but a long sleeve liner or Tee must be worn. I hate washing and drying it, I hope it gets too close to a campfire...eek.

Cut close with a flat lock seam construction for comfortable layering, the Ibex Shak Jersey is a natural alternative to polyester middle layers, featuring the right balance of moisture-wicking density for skiing, hiking and running in cold weather conditions. Significantly longer than most zippered pullovers, the Shak's front zipper extends halfway down the front of the jersey, so you enjoy more ventilation potential than most middle layers, especially if you're wearing it over a light silk shirt. The itch-free Merino wool knit holds the dye at the core of each fiber, so you won't have to hassle with color bleeds or fading.
