User Review: Integral Designs South Col
Rating: ![]()
Design: bivy sack
Sleeps: 1
Ease of Setup: just roll it out
Weight: 1lb 14oz
Price Paid: $145
I like it. It has a wire stiffener that keeps it off your face, and a partial zipper down one side for ventilation and ease of entry and exit. I set mine up with my head a bit higher than the rest of my body so I can leave the main zip completely open in a snow storm. I noticed that the fuzzy wicking interior surface retains some frozen moisture (from body vapor) like the fabrics in single wall tents. This makes it hard to put it back into the stuff sack, so I don't use the stuff sack (a good idea anyway to save weight and time).
