Patagonia Men's R1 Full-Zip Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars Amazing jacket, lightweight and confortable I have used this jacket to backpack 6 months from Lima to Ushuaia and the return. It's also very useful when you are doing rock climbing and even have take it to the Cordillera Blanca in Perú (not that cold over there). Definitly I would recommend it. Full review

Black Diamond Men's Access Hybrid Hoody

rated 5 of 5 stars An insulated jacket with a good amount of breathability and stretch for cold weather climbing. After years of discomfort while cold weather climbing, I made it a priority to find a jacket better suited for cold weather. My previous solution was to climb in either a softshell jacket or a down jacket. The softshell was stretchy and breathable, but I’d be cold in 50 degree or colder weather. The down jacket was warmer but didn’t stretch and I was always afraid I would tear the shell material. So… Full review

The North Face Women's Venture Jacket

rated 0.5 of 5 stars The lifetime warranty means nothing. The lining in mine has completely deteriorated and the jacket is unusable. And I'm told lifetime warranty = 2 years! Very disappointing. Don't waste your money! Very disappointed with this item, as I thought I was getting something of quality. The lining has completely deteriorated and the jacket is unusable....it can only go in the bin. Their "lifetime" warranty (as I've been informed by email) means two years. Deceptive advertising if you ask me! Don't waste… Full review

Marmot Men's PreCip Jacket

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Inexpensive shell jacket that does a decent job of blocking wind and rain. Durability is average. Breathability is better than average. Value is hard to beat. I'm 6 feet tall and 175 lbs with an athletic build. I purchased this jacket new to take on a year-long trip through South America. I used this jacket as my rain jacket, wind jacket, insect protection, and light insulating layer. After one year of demanding use this jacket held up slightly above average. The construction held up, but the DWR… Full review

Loki Morf Zip Up Hoodie

rated 4.5 of 5 stars This is a hoodie you can live in. Highly recommended. The fit of this hoodie is generous to say the least. The size I have is a medium, and I normally take a large to XL in most other outerwear items. Comfortable too. The mitts and the face/neck guard are built in to the hoodie, as is done on all Loki jackets and parkas. The material is water resistant, not waterproof. It will hold up okay against a light rain sprinkle. Loki offers it in a small selection of colors. It works well alone, under a… Full review

REI Women's Revelcloud Hoodie Jacket

rated 4.5 of 5 stars I bought this jacket as an impulse buy at REI with my 20% off outlet coupon. The jacket was already marked down due to not a popular color? (This color purple was the only color marked down and there were a ton of them) The rest were $129. So with coupon I paid $47.93. What a deal I couldn't pass it up! I learned to live with the bright odd color purple. It is super lightweight and crazy warm! Packs into side pocket Crazy color, but great buy! As you see above the reason I bought the jacket. I… Full review

Marmot Men's PreCip Jacket

rated 4 of 5 stars Good mountain rain shell. Lightweight, with pit zips. Summary - This is my primary rain protection for spring/summer/fall backpacking and camping trips. It has held up well in a variety of conditions. Still have not found a jacket that breathes as well as advertised. My Use - This has kept me dry on downpours in the Rockies and Sierras. And in warmer rains the pit zips help in ventilating. On chilly mornings and evenings, and some of them are downright cold in the mountains, it holds the heat in… Full review

Arc'teryx Men's Theta AR Jacket

rated 1 of 5 stars Not recommended My Arc'teryx hacket has Gore-Tex delamination problems (I'd attach the photo if there was an option) and I now that the manufacturer does not warranty this problems! Then...Think hard and twice about buying their high-end (?) products. Full review

Marmot Women's PreCip Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars This is all the raincoat I need right now. Great on the trail and lightweight. Staying dry in Ohanapecosh! I love this jacket! I have looked at other rain jackets that are way more expensive and I just don't see a need for something that costs hundreds of dollars when this jacket meets all my needs at the moment. I have been caught out on the trail in the rain and this worked fine. I didn't get wet. Yes, it does get a little hot even with the under arm zipper vents, but it works great and I am going… Full review
