Arc'teryx Men's Procline Comp Jacket

rated 4.5 of 5 stars While marketed as an improvement on the Alpha Comp, this ripoff of Black Diamond's Dawn Patrol LT Hybrid takes inspiration from the original and perfects it. Conditions: Two full seasons in the Rockies, with occasional trips to the Coast Range. Experience 10° to -28° dry conditions as well as two days of very wet snow. Mostly ski touring, ski mountaineering, ice climbing, cycle commuting in the Pacific North West, and mountaineering. Personal: Fairly fit late 20-year-old male, I get really, really… Full review

The North Face Women's Sickline Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars The Sickline Jacket is not only a good looking jacket, but it keeps you protected from the elements, adjusts in all the right places, and can take a beating. I’ve had this jacket for a couple of years now and it’s survived a lot more epic wipes than my previous jackets. It’s kept the elements out, me warm and dry, and also looked good. It’s a winner of a jacket. Full review

Filson Down Cruiser Jacket

rated 1 of 5 stars Tried to order online, got transferred to the Seattle store, and when I received the jacket discovered they charged me "sales tax" (which is not required in Oregon). Called to discuss with Seattle store salesman and was told there was nothing they could do so paid full retail plus $70.20. Will definitely not buy anything from the Seattle store again; word of warning to watch what they charge if you order online. Full review

Dragon Heatwear Wyvern 3 Zone Heated Jacket

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Love the feel of the jacket. The battery lasts a good amount of time and definitely keeps me warm. I definitely recommend it. If you get cold, this heated jacket is a good one to get. Fit is good. Definitely check the sizing guide before buying. I got it right from their store. And they shipped pretty quickly. Got it in four days.  It can be a bit tight around the waist at times. Has adjustable velcro cuffs which is nice.  It is wind and water resistant. Holds up well in the rain.  It definitely… Full review

Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Jacket

rated 4 of 5 stars Good one. Very warm for dynamic activities, still has its role in a winter layering system. The jacket is very stretchy, allowing full range of arm movement, and it has some strategic Polartec Powerstrech panels in key areas. Shines in chilling autumn temperatures when you can just pair it with a t-shirt. Has a little wind resistance. Very soft and pleasant. Full review

Lands' End 800 Down Packable Jacket

rated 1 of 5 stars The Squall System Shell Jacket fits good and is light. This morning temp was 52 degrees outside for five minutes, and this Land's End Squall Component Jacket is a joke for keeping you warm. Don't buy it. I just wasted over $200 for the jacket with the 800 Down Packable Jacket insert. Full review

Columbia OutDry Ex Eco Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars First ever jacket made from 100% recycled fabric from 100 plastic bottles. 100% breathable and waterproof. The Columbia OutDry Ex Eco Rain Jacket is a 100% recycled jacket and is waterproof and lets you breath with ease compared to the other so called breathables. I wore this jacket on chilly mornings while climbing multiple 1,000 feet plus on Quebec's IAT section hike. It performed magnificently and this is one of my pieces for the Triple Crown of hiking. All my gear reviews have now been hiker… Full review

Black Diamond Men's Cold Forge Jacket

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Great cold weather layer. For those that have read my reviews, know that I won't review unless I have had the product for more than a year.  With that said, I used this jacket under a Gortex shell as my mid-winter guiding jacket pretty much all of last winter down to -25°C. There were times when I had to remove the shell because I got too warm.  I also never managed to snag it or rip the outer material. Luck? I like the long length for covering my kidneys and the high collar for tucking my chin… Full review

Mountain Equipment Annapurna Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars I have bought this jacket for an up and coming trek to Everest base camp. I have tried it out in our milder climate on a colder day and the warmth was amazing. I have no doubt that I will not get cold in the Himalayas. I bought the large jacket. My chest is 42 inches and I have a 32 waist and the jacket fits perfectly. The adjustable and removable hood is perfect and if you need to wear a helmet the hood is comparable. The Velcro cuffs are snug. The Drilite fabric make it waterproof and windproof. Full review
