Rab Men's Neutrino Endurance Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars Really nice jacket with great reviews all across the internet! I just got this jacket and have yet to test it out in the cold. I'm 6' 165 and ordered a large and it fits great with room for some layers if needed. Great for my frame. Glad I ordered a size up. Will update review later this winter! Full review

Columbia Men's Steens Mountain Full Zip

rated 3.5 of 5 stars Overall a good replacement to a cotton sweatshirt. Great for mild temps/conditions. I always like Columbia fleeces, but over the years it has changed. Now if you have a Benton Springs which is the same thing but a women's, the Benton is a lot softer compared to this. I will do a review on that later. I bought the Steens jacket on sale as I certainty couldn't pass it up. I wanted a replacement for a sweatshirt after learning cotton sweatshirt is not fun when wet. It surpassed my expectations of warmth… Full review

The North Face Thermoball Pullover

rated 4.5 of 5 stars The usual excellent quality and spendy retail pricing from The North Face. Excellent addition to my cool/cold weather wardrobe, but only because I got it on a close-out deal (not a 2nd). This pullover retailed for more than I wanted to spend, but the reviews, coupled with an excellent deal I found elsewhere convinced me to order. I have been wearing it a few weeks and it's been very good, though not great. I give it 4.5 stars based primarily on cost to performance. For a synthetic, it is very lightweight… Full review

Arc'teryx Men's Psiphon SL Pullover

rated 3.5 of 5 stars I got this as a replacement for the Squamish. It's a decent jacket, but a little awkward. Fit Disclaimer: I'm 5'10" 155 lbs and very lean. I have small shoulders, a 29-inch waist and always fit a size small. I tend to run very hot as soon as I start moving. But get cold quickly. I find that Black Diamond Dawn Patrol series and Marmot fit me best and most brands' Trim fits feel normal to me. What works or doesn't for me may Or may not for you.  I've taken this jacket on a number of multi pitch climbs,… Full review

Rab Men's Neo Guide Jacket

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Super breathable jacket that is a perfect fit for nearly ever activity. It's better than most of my softshells, but is waterproof, has more pockets storage then my 8 litre running pack, and is durable. It's a bit on the bulky side as it is designed it be worn over hefty layers, but it seems even a bit too big for that. I Found it to be a bombproof layer for alrounders alpine pursuits. Fit Disclaimer: I'm 5'10" 155 lbs and very lean. I have small shoulders, a 29-inch waist and always fit a size small. Full review

Buffalo Mountain Shirt

rated 4.5 of 5 stars A reliable, fast drying synthetic jacket which puts a lot of emphasis on staying warm through a high level of breathability. The Buffalo Mountain Shirt is an excellent choice of clothing for anyone who wants an extremely breathable and affordable coat for use while active. I have had this coat for a year and a half now, and while I mainly use it in winter due to the fact that it's usually too warm for summer use, its low weight of 630g allows it to act as a nice backup when wildcamping or backpacking… Full review

Patagonia Men's Super Alpine Jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars Very nice jacket. Seems to be very well made and is holding up well. The jackets seem to run true to size. I am 6 foot 190 pounds and the large fits well. Loose enough that you can layer it, but not so loose that you can't easily wear it alone, which is what I normally do. No flaws in it so far with skiing or other outdoor activities. I like that it has a high collar that zipped up keeps the elements from around my neck. Vents well, and all cords, zippers etc. holding up well after one season of… Full review

Patagonia Men's Nano Puff Pullover

rated 5 of 5 stars The Patagonia Nano Puff Pullover is a versatile, lightweight insulating layer that also does a pretty good job of keeping the wind chill down. When I learned that I had won a Backcountry.com gift certificate from Trailspace, my first thought was that I wanted to finally get a modern, purpose-designed, technical piece of clothing to help lighten my load overall. After looking through (and researching) all the lovely clothing items on Backcountry.com like a kid memorizing every page of the Sears Christmas… Full review

Patagonia Light and Variable Jacket

rated 4.5 of 5 stars This jacket is perfect for those rainy summer days. This jacket is perfect to take on camping trips. It folds up into its pocket and has a clip you can clip onto the back of your pack. It is also perfect for traveling on an airplane. Fits right into your carry-on in case it's a little chilly on the plane. It's lightweight, which is perfect for those hot, rainy summer days. The material is very comfortable and doesn't stick to your skin. You can tighten the hood if the rain starts to get bad. The… Full review
