User Review: Katadyn Base Camp

Wonderfull water filter. We used the filter on a 6-day 4-person boundary waters canoe trip. The filter gave us plenty of good clean drinking water without the fuss of a pump system. Gravity did the work while we fished. The filter did slow down after about 20 gallons of lake water purification. I suggest a spare filter cartridge for longer trips or more people. We did rinse the filter in clean water when we returned home and it did seem improve the speed of the filter once again.
