Necky Looksha 12

rated 5 of 5 stars The Necky Looksha 12 is well designed and the right size for us. My wife and I are in our early 50s and we started kayaking in the spring of 2014. The Necky Looksha 12 is a quality designed and built product that has a good blend of features that work for us. The 12s are big enough that we won't outgrow them and small enough to store and transport. The two compartments are big enough to carry gear for overnight trips. My wife likes relaxing paddles in lakes. I've had my 12 in windy rivers, waves,… Full review

Sea Eagle Sport 370

rated 4.5 of 5 stars The Sea Eagle 370 is everything I hoped it would be, and more. The Sea Eagle 370 is everything I hoped it would be, and more. This inflatable kayak is what I’ll call quality with value.  I wanted to get something to make my camping trips with my daughters more fun and appealing to them.  Since they vary in age range, hiking (especially longer ones) aren’t always ideal. So I targeted something to play on the water with, and I researched a LOT before deciding upon the Sea Eagle 370.  I am very… Full review

Wilderness Systems Ripper

rated 5 of 5 stars Ripper kayaks are easy to transport, extremely maneuverable, and stable even in rougher waters. These 8-ft kayaks can take your water enjoyment to a new level. Go to the spots boats can't reach, fish from it, or just enjoy the beauty of your local rivers, creeks and bays. We have three of these Wilderness Ripper kayaks and have kayaked in them for almost ten years. They still are in as good a shape as when we first bought them...well, maybe a few cosmetic scratches here and there, but nothing else. Full review

Wilderness Systems Pungo 120

rated 5 of 5 stars Great kayak, stable. This was the first kayak I ever used, and it is a great beginner all around boat. Handles a little bit of white water, goes great on the lake, hard to tip, and easy to get in and out of. Full review

Wilderness Systems Pungo 100

rated 5 of 5 stars Amazing kayak for a smaller person, tracks good, turns nice and very stable! I really like that I can brace my legs in this one if I'm hitting some rough water. I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs. Someone bigger might find it a little tight. Full review

Perception Prodigy 13.5

rated 5 of 5 stars A most excellent kayak for flat and mostly calm waters (rivers, lakes, and bays). Very stable with plenty of room for a companion, whether a larger dog or most tweens and younger. Excels at kayak camping. Don't be fooled by the Cons, this is an awesome kayak if you are serious about bringing your buddy with you, kayak camping, or both.  It also works just fine for a short solo paddle as well, although so do plenty of other kayaks. Marketing. I fault copy/paste marketing folks for having bad info… Full review

Old Town Camden 120

rated 5 of 5 stars I have a couple of kayaks, and have always wanted an Old Town Camden. I was not disappointed. It is very stable, tracks very well, and is comfortable for my 6.3 height. Awesome kayak!!!! Full review

Dagger Mamba 7.6

rated 5 of 5 stars Super maneuverable and quick around rapids. Took it on the Gauley River and it handled like a pro. I loveeeeee this kayak. <3 Full review

Wilderness Systems Zephyr 160

rated 5 of 5 stars Great "big water" ride. Fast and maneuverable. Love this kayak. Did quite a bit of research prior to the purchase last spring (2013). The rocker and narrow width make this kayak easy to maneuver and quick in a straight line. Initial stability is OK and while the width is only 23.5 inches it offers plenty of leg room. (I am 6' 0" and weigh 200 lbs.) The seat is super comfortable as Wilderness Systems seats are traditionally known to be. The skeg definitely helps in windy conditions.  This is… Full review
