I like how the shoe felt on the foot when I first got it, and that never changed. It seemed a little heavy, but offers great support and comfort for rugged terrain. The only thing I had a problem with was the tread itself. It started to peel after only 12 miles, and I hadn't done anything crazy to them, just a few trails. As far as the waterproof thing went, it's great! Not a bad shoe overall.
